Parking at the Mountain and Bus shuttles

Parking at the Mountain and Bus shuttles

It is a strong recommendation to bring a 4WD or car with chains when parking at the mountain, when road restrictions are in place due to weather conditions which may change rapidly. Otherwise, parking is a convenient option, but on weekends you must pre-book your carparking space, or you risk missing out. Shuttling is also an easy option which you can take in from National Park, buses are available right from Turangi too if you would prefer not to drive.
